Lisa was appointed in July 2018 to fill the unexpired term of then resigning Fiscal Officer Lisa Gross. Ms. Cogley worked closely with the previous Fiscal Officer to ensure a seamless transition and was elected in 2019 to fulfill the 2020-2024 term.
The Fiscal Officer’s responsibilities include all Township accounting functions, preparation of payroll and tax reports, Township appropriations, budgets, audits, and year-end processing. The accurate recording of Township meeting minutes is also the responsibility of the Fiscal Officer as well the protector of Bath Township’s public records.
Lisa has completed the Auditor of State’s Uniform Accounting Network training and the annual continuing education hours as required by the Auditor of State. Lisa is a graduate of Bath High School, has an Associate Degree from Rhodes State College, a Baccalaureate Degree from Franklin University, and a Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University. Lisa also is a full-time Assistant Professor at Rhodes State College where she enjoys teaching in the Business, Technology, & Public Service Division.
Lisa has resided in Bath Township for over 45 years. She and her husband Greg are both Bath High School graduates, have three daughters, Amanda, Renee, & Jordan that all graduated from Bath. They have two grandchildren, Thayer and Tinley.
