William F. Degen
Bill Degen is a life-long Bath Township resident being first appointed Township Trustee in 1995 to fill a vacated term. Bill is currently serving in his sixth full term in office.
Bill is President and CEO of Degen Excavating Company, a long established Bath Township business. During his tenure as Trustee, Bill has led numerous neighborhood improvement projects funded by Ohio Public Works Commission grants.
These projects have improved drainage and provided new pavement in many areas throughout the Township. Bill is a member of the Allen County Township Association and the Ohio Township Association and serves as the Township representative on the Ottawa River Coalition.
Bill is a graduate of Bath High School and is has been very active in the community through his work with Boy Scouts of America and his support of Bath Local Schools. Bill and his wife Susan have raised two sons, Jared and Ethan, in Bath Township.
Trustee Degen’s current term expires December 31, 2019.

Robert E. Sielschott
Robert Slelschott graduated from Bath High School in 1976. He married Beda (Rodriguez) Slelschott in 1979, and has three children, Tim Sielschott, Stephanie Reindel, and Matt Sielschott. He graduated from Bluffton University in 1981 with a BA in Accounting and Business Administration. Bob became a CPA in September of 1982 and founded the accounting firm of Sielschott, Walsh, Keifer and Regula, Inc. in December of 1982. His firm has been in Bath Township since 1996. Bob began serving as a volunteer football coach at Bath High School in 1986, served on the Ohio State Audit Committee, and is the Area Action Council chairman for the National Federation of Independent Business. He began serving as a Bath Township Trustee in 2018.
