Joe Patton

Joe Patton has been a Bath Township resident for over 20 years.  Joe graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School and then attended Lima Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.  Joe moved to the Lima/Allen County community in 1994 after he accepted a position with the Allen County Department of Job and Family Services a Fraud Investigator.  He was promoted to Investigations Manager and went on to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in business from Grand Canyon University.  Joe took over as the Manager of OhioMeansJobs Allen County where he had the opportunity to work with many local businesses on recruiting and job placement.  In this position, he worked closely with Allen Economic Development Group to both help support local businesses and also on attraction projects that have supported the growth of many full time positions in the Township.   Joe was promoted to Director of OhioMeansJobs/Allen County Department of Job and Family Services in 2018 where he continues to support work and local jobs as an important part of the agency’s mission.  He is a member of the Ohio Economic Development Association and completed their basic Economic Development Certification in 2016.  Joe serves as a member of the Tax Incentive Review Board and the Public Defender Board for Allen County.  He also serves as a Board member of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, is a member of Lima Rotary Club, and is an Associate member of the Allen County Trustee Association since 2016.  Joe, and his wife Christa, have three children Wes, Connor and Molly.  Wes is a Bath Graduate who is serving as an officer in the Navy, Connor and Molly attend Bath Local School.  Joe is honored to serve the Bath Community and looks forward to supporting continued growth.
