Bath Township Cemeteries

The Bath Township Road Department maintains nine cemeteries in the Township – two of which are active for burials, Ward and Bluelick. Grave plots for purchase are available at the Bath Township Administrative offices located at 2880 Ada Road, Lima, Ohio 45801.

Cemetery Information and History

Berry Hill Cemetery - Created in approximately 1835 near the first settlement in Allen County on the banks of the Sugar Creek. Entrance to this cemetery requires permission from Bath Township.

Tony’s Nose Cemetery
- Established on March 25, 1871 by the Trustees of Bath Township, from Aaron and Eleanor Osmen. Tony’s Nose Cemetery is 2 ½ miles east of Lima on Reservoir Road between Roush and Fetter Roads. Revolutionary soldier, Sergeant William Chenoweth was laid to rest in this cemetery.
