Bath Local School District
Bath Township is home to Bath Local Schools which offers PK-12. The school district consists of 3 buildings, the Elementary, Middle and High schools. A new Elementary building was recently constructed and opened for students in 2014.

The schools have received a rating of "Excellent School" by the Ohio Department of Education during school years '01–'02, '02–'03, '03–'04, '04–'04, '05–'06, '06–'07, and '07–'08. More than 75 percent of Bath graduates pursue college education.

With the availability of surrounding colleges such as The Ohio State Lima campus and Rhodes State College, Bath students have an opportunity to participate in the post-secondary options program. Students also have the option take classes offered at the Apollo Career Center, which is a joint vocational school in the area.

U.S. News and World Report awarded Bath High School a bronze award for their America's Best High Schools 2009 rankings.[3] They were the only high school in Allen County to be recognized


Ohio State Lima Campus
The Ohio State University opened a 565-acre campus in Lima in 1960. OSU Lima offers two and four year degrees in addition to graduate programs.


Rhodes State College
Rhodes State College is a public, state-assisted institution of higher learning that provides degree granting career education programs, non-credit workforce development, and consulting for business and industry. The college prepares students for entry into careers, develops the regional workforce through credit and non-credit occupational training, and offers curricular programs that prepare students for transfer completion baccalaureate programs at selected colleges and universities.


Marimor Industries
Marimor Industries, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation, which provides training and employment for citizens of Allen County, Ohio with developmental disabilities. Subcontract work with business and industry provides the tools for training and employment.

Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities
The Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities offers a full range of services beginning with in-home early intervention programs for very young children and their families to activity services for individuals who are elderly. In between, we prove service and support administration which links individuals and their families to needed services, preschool and school services, family resources which can include respite care, supported residential services, vocational training, community employment, and crisis intervention.
